This is one of the very few cakes we offer that contains alcohol. American raisins are immersed in the famous Myers’s Rum for at least seven days so that every one is fully soaked with the liquor. More rum is added when fresh cream is mixed with the ground raisins. The taste of liquor of this cake is so strong that we wouldn’t recommend one to drive after having more than one piece :-) If you are looking to indulge yourself and your guests a bit in a party, this is the cake to go for.
